Welcome to the Rutgers Competitive Programming Club! Join us to sharpen your problem-solving skills, tackle algorithmic challenges, and take part in coding competitions. In weekly meetings, members teach others about algorithmic and mathematical concepts like geometry, number theory, dynamic programming, and graph theory.
Only introductory programming knowledge (CS 111 or equivalent) is needed!

Tryouts Start:
Greater NY Regional:
The premier international programming competition for college students. We send several Rutgers teams to GNYR, with the opportunity to advance to the North American Championship and World Finals.
Fall Contest:
Spring Contest: date TBD
Rutgers’ semesterly ICPC-style team contest. Open to all students (Rutgers and non-Rutgers). In-person contestants get free food and lots of opportunities to win prizes, so don’t hesitate to sign up!

Online 2-3 hour long solo contests. Participants are given a rating (similar to Elo rating) as they compete. Codeforces also features a wide selection of past problems and community resources.
